Moonlight Usage Guide

Follow these steps to connect to your TrueCloud rig using Moonlight.

Step 1: Download and Install Moonlight

Get the right client for your device.

Moonlight is an open-source client that lets you stream games and applications from your TrueCloud PC to almost any device. First, you need to download and install the Moonlight client on the device you want to play on.

Step 2: Start Your Rig

Make sure your cloud PC is running.

Navigate to the My Rig page in your dashboard. If your VM status is "Offline", press the "Start VM" button. Wait until the status indicator turns green and shows "Online".

Step 3: Add Your Rig to Moonlight

Manually add your PC using its IP address.

Open the Moonlight client on your device. It will automatically scan your local network, but it won't find your TrueCloud PC. You need to add it manually.

Click the 'Add PC' button (usually a '+' icon).
Go back to your My Rig page and copy the "Moonlight IP & Port" from the Connection Details card.
Paste this IP address into the prompt in Moonlight and connect.

Step 4: Pair Your Device

Securely connect your client to the host.

After adding the PC, Moonlight will display a PIN code on your device.

Go to the "Pair a New Device" card on your My Rig page.
Enter the PIN from your Moonlight client into the PIN Code field.
Click the "Pair" button.

Your device is now securely paired with your cloud rig! You should see a list of available applications and games to stream. Click on one to start your session.
